VOCATIONAL APTITUDE BATTERY
This unit assesses all eleven aptitudes by means of the following individual
job-related tests:
General, Verbal, Numerical, and one each Spatial, Form Perception, Clerical Perception,
Motor Coordination, Finger Dexterity, Manual Dexterity, Eye-Hand-Foot Coordination and
Color Discrimination.COGNITIVE
AND CONCEPTUAL ABILITIES
This unit measures
the three General Educational Development factors: Reasoning, Math and
Language. It also provides levels from approximately Grade Level I through
college. The test questions are all directly related to the Department
of Labor's requirements for occupations listed in the Dictionary of Occupational
Titles-D.O.T. Each unit is provided in three different Forms.
VOCATIONAL INTEREST INVENTORY
The newly revised Vocational Interest Inventory, which relates to the G.O.E. (Guide
for Occupational Exploration), measures an individual's areas of interest. Unit consists
of 20 VII Booklets.
ASSESSMENT OF WORK ATTITUDES
In this unit, an individual is required to evaluate and respond to on-the-job
situations , which reflect the beliefs, values, and actions commonly interpreted as
attitudes. An Observation Profile Form provides a direct relationship between the
instrument and the written observations of the evaluator. Consists of 10 Booklets.
TEMPERAMENT FACTOR ASSESSMENT
This unit measures an individual's temperaments-those personal traits that often
affect employee performance and turnover. The results of the unit directly relate to the
eleven temperaments used by the Department of Labor in the classification of jobs.
Consists of 10 Job Temperament Booklets.
LEARNING STYLES
This unit is based on the "C. I. T. E." learning styles inventory. It
produces a graph ical presentation of the client's best way of learning and an explanation
listing their major and minor learning styles with a personalized prescription for each
client. Consists of 10 booklets.
WORK ETHICS
This unit is designed to identify, in workers or potential workers, personality types,
which are related to survival on the job. Consists of 10 booklets.
The S.A.G.E is available
in large print, Braille, and Spanish. Some units are specially adapted
for the visually impaired.
